Got this DIRT CHEAP, 2k under KBB, works and drives great, interior is mint, does need some body work though, nothing a lil work and paint cant do though

Completly bone stock, except the suspension. He needed it to be replaced, so he had Bilstein Coilovers put on

[Way better then the DSM, and the things tourqy as hell]

Dont worry, after the body work gets done, itll get some nice rims to be tuckin', and possibly 6psi SC down the road

Nope, no check engine lights yet, hopfully itll be better then the DSM, I heard the VR6s are not as bad as the 2.0s.

I thought the 2.0s are more reliable then the VR6's and both are better then the 1.8T. My question is why would you go from one car with a reputation of being a pain in the ass to another one with the same reputation? Regardless good luck with it, looks clean.

ive done my reading, these are wayyyyyy more reliable then DSMs.

VR6 Turbo > VR6 SC in my opinion. For the love of god, don't put BBS RM's on it either. I swear every dub around has them on :P Either way, very nice pickup. VW's really aren't that bad. Most of the problems they have are stupid little things like window regulators and switches. Coilpacks can go bad on the older ones, but that's not too bad. You shouldn't have too much trouble.

And to the haters, these things can be reliable as hell, mines well over 200,000 with only a new clutch in its repair history. For only needing a clutch after 200k, thats a big stretch from a direct comparison to DSMs.
