Well i got board and decided to take my automotive enthusiasm and put it into my gaming system....

I am a sucker for Carbon Fiber and when i came across this i had to snatch it up, I have seen other stick on Skins that where just very cheap and generic looking and this really caught my eye and decieded to give it a try and if i didnt like it ah well i wasted 20 bucks.....

Check it out i think it looks pretty decent.....

The camera flash kinda blows out the image and puts relfections on it....Looks better in person

Now capable of light speed

not bad... would have been cooler if you designed a custom carbon fiber case for it.

actually, that would sell quite well i'm sure!

Its not actual weave, but it looks pretty damn good

My PS3 is my other baby besides the car and was very skeptic about doing something like this, but once i recieved the product in the mail and saw it i couldnt resist....

Im sure you have seen other skins that claim to be Carbon Fiber, but are just soooooo Generic

Tried it and failed.....A lot harder then it seems apparently haha and wasted a good deal in money trying to get it down

Easy way would just to be to lay it over the existing case, but that would be pointless imo and add weight and ultimatly ruin my system case

hmm, i would try to buy a broken system for cheap and create a mold out of it and lay the CF in the mold.

granted, i've never worked with carbon fiber so i'm not entirely sure how well that would work. May need to do something like a mold, then create some kind of case from that, then lay the CF on that...

either way, if you could get down a system of producing a real CF PS3 case... you'd be money son

Why limit yourself to a double stack? With the average PS3 holding an average of 6-8 "cell" processing units you should go tripple or quad or stay home.
