When I picked up my Integra in April of 2003 it was my first car and I imagined having it for a very long time and could have never anticipated how much I would have come to love everything about it.

I started out like a majority of us once did at one point or another not knowing much about the car or where to even start with my modifications. As the years went by my plans changed over and over again as I slowly but surely changed things on the car, until it made it to where it was just a few days ago.

About a month ago when I was in the midst of doing a lot of research on HID retrofitting and doing a retrofit on my Integra my parents let me know that they did not think it was a financially wise decision to keep investing money into the car and they would be willing to chip in some money for my 21st birthday which was coming up at the time towards the purchase of a new car.

At first I was caught totally off guard and didn't even know what to think. The thought of a different car or a new car rarely if ever crossed my mind.

After thinking about it and looking around at new cars in my price range, I decided despite how much I loved my Integra it would be stupid of me to turn down my parents offer. I considered a lot of different cars, new and used and after test driving a few and looking around I made my final decision on my 21st Birthday (3/19).

I decided on a '07 Civic Si Coupe in Glalxy Grey Metallic.

Thanks a lot man, Like I said above I will be putting together a FS thread probably here on TST and on Team-Integra with a fair amount of stuff that I never installed on the teg but planned to and stuff that I took off of it.

wow, the SI looks monstrous when compared to the GSR side by side. I am a big fan of the new SI though. Have fun with it.

Yeah it certainly is more spacious, and I like that. My dad I both agree the first thing it needs is a set of coilovers, but I would hate to loose the nice comfortable ride so I am in no rush.

Haha, yeah I figured new car new avatar. Thanks, I like the color too, something a little more subtle than the bright red.

Thanks man, and believe me the Si will be done up even nicer. And I will be getting that FS thread up asap, I wanna put up everything up at once. And as for the wheels/tires, they will be for sale but just to let you know there are a lot of people interested in them.

Yeah I think some of that is just the perspective but it is a much more modern car and it is a little bigger.

I loved my Integra and the way it drove to death, but the SI stock is faster handles a fare amount better especially because of the LSD, and it is much more comfortable not to mention the lack of rattles and subtle imperfections that the teg had. SO all and all I am loving the Si so far, I look forward to driving it when I'm not.

good call on the si, they are so smooth to drive. one thing i strongly recommend is getting the hondata reflash because it drops the vtec point down to the 4ks which would be like de ja vu. lol anyway did you keep the suspension or did you turn it in w/ the car, cause im interested. GL with the Si.

Thanks man, yeah I have done my research on the reflash but I dunno if I am too keen on reflashing a brand new car if you know what I mean. Maybe down the road a little, I have other things that are higher up on my list of things to do. As for the suspenion on the teg it was sold with the car.
