Throwing this out there... AV Install Job and now retail and warehouse positions!

There will be a new position opening as an Installer for 6th Avenue Electronics in Langhorne PA. Goal for store opening is early July.

I can't guarantee anyone getting anything here, but I'm just putting it out there for anyone who thinks they'd be good at it to take a shot. You will be working with me directly for a few months at least.

Job entails:
- Going to different houses every day. Hanging TVs, surround sound systems, home automation and programming. You need to be presentable and courteous.
- Having a background in electronics is good to have, having background in both residential construction and home electronics is even better. Honestly, if you're good with a screwdriver and you're not afraid to be in an attic or dreary basement then I can teach you the rest.
- Fulltime position. 9:30 - 6 M-F are the normal hours. Sometimes we work a little early and a little late. Big jobs is nose to the grindstone and sometimes (rarely) requires working a Sat too.

I have fully enjoyed my time with this company.

*For those of you wondering, if you DO get the job before the store opens, you will be helping us all build the store first.

^ What he said. I have work experience installing voice/data/video networks as well as maintaining various types of electronics (computers, projectors, printers) so it sounds right up my alley.

It's around 11-12 an hour starting. Varies from person to person obviously, they pay competitively for the market.

-Installer
-Lead Installer
-Senior Installer

Someone just gave me a heads up, they will be taking applications at the Montgomeryville store starting 6/2. Aside from the installer position, they will also be looking to fill retail and warehouse positions as well! Again, you can use their website to find store information, and if you have any further questions you can contact the stores for application details!

I am totally out of the loop right now, I am currently busy building the Langhorne store so I really have nothing else to offer.

Yea, like Jul said, when we stopped in there earlier there was a sign on the door saying that there will be open interviews on the 2nd. Are they only hiring Installers? I've got enough experience to probably hit a tier or two higher.

They may be looking for a lead, they will be building a store in Depford NJ next. I don't know, the only thing I know is that I need a guy to work with me so that's why I put this up.

Sorry about the inconvinience man, Jul told me what happened. Like I said, I'm stuck on this store build right now and the company keeps a lot of things close to heart (they are a private company) so I don't have any heads up or ideas of what they are looking for or even already have.
