I'm fighting off the mod bug but I'm starting a stint of orders at work that's going to pay me almost 3 months of normal pay from my GI bill; it's starting to dig in.

Yea I’m here. Been busy with the kid myself lately and driving the Z when I can. Still looking for a 87-89 passenger spindle for the Z31 so I can start getting the coilovers welded up and installed.

I've built myself a sweet 2 car well oversized garage with insulation, air conditioning and new age cabinets. Now I am so tired after building the damn thing I haven't done anything with the cars yet. But the 335i I've got is so fun. That thing is super fast with full bolt on. It's hilarious. J you should ask Mark E about that, he drove it and broke it lol.

I havenít talked to Mark too much lately. When do you guys think you will be back North?

Keila and I bought tickets to visit her mom in Miami next April so she can meet the baby. We should get together while Iím down there.

Iím still standing strong and havenít sold the C7 for the baby or upgrading to a C8

The C8 is intriguing but I don't know if I could handle an automatic even if it's sub-3 second. The trouble with Miami is that it's like 4 hours from us and there is absolutely nothing in the middle. So we'd have to drive over there or you'd have to drive to us the entire way. We'd probably have to take the rv over there which isn't out of the question as I've never been to Miami. I heard Miami is a dangerous hole though. But then so is Vegas and I liked Vegas. Oh and assuming they get married and we're invited we'd come up for that.

Actually looking at the map Naples is about halfway.

The C8 auto is a dual clutch set-up. So think more porsche PDK and less honda accord. The "auto" should be quite good as long as chevy didn't mess it up. I'm a manual guy, but would have no problem with a good dual clutch set-up.

My good friend lives in naples. Nice area. A lot of money around.

Oh I have no doubt on the quality of it. Even some of the true autos are fantastic these days. For dedicated track usage it just makes sense. But I am looking for an engaging fun car that is primarily street and manual transmission is basically the first requirement. Some day I may pick up a haggard one as a track rat. In fact I probably will.
