painting stock rims

I'm looking for some advice on painting my wheels. I have a 2005 GTO and want to paint the wheels satin black so i was thinking about using VHT satin black. Powder Coating is out of the question since i do not have a tire machine and do not want to spend a lot. I have had plasti dip on my 10' malibu but am looking for something a little more permanent for the GTO. Any advice is appreciated.

My malibu with plasti dip

thanks man. I'm going to try and find the paint locally instead of having to order it.

you can honestly get paint from anywhere
duplicolor makes a special paint just for wheels you can get at pepboys

but i sprayed my wheels with paint from home depo and its just as good

all that matters is how you prep the wheels and put enough even coats

that should be obvious. if you want your wheels powder coated, you bring them with no tires. imo id go with powder coating over spray painting your wheels. powder coat will last 100x longer than spray paint.

getting tires taken off isn't really that expensive, i couldn't see anyone charging you more then 50-60$ to take tires off and put them back on and rebalance, take it to a local mom and pop place
