i rarely sleep, eventually your body will get pissed and you'll get lazy and back into normal habits
if i want to fall asleep i watch tv, that puts me out in minutes.

benadryl does work rly well if its stong enough it makes you realllllyyyyy loopy first idk what that doctor gave me but i was laughing at squirrels and shyt i had no idea whether it was 8 am or pm so i ate breakfast, pasted out, then woke up at 1:30(turns out am) and thought the world was ending or some shyt cuz it was dark out lolz

Well, when I work I go to sleep in the daytime and am usually pooped. So, barring excessive external noise it is quite easy to fall asleep. Sometimes, when I try to fall asleep at an atypical time i have a few methods. -Since I got my mind machine, I'll simply do a delta sleep session sans light stimulation. The most effective program I've noticed so far is is 32 minutes of dual binaural beats starting at 12hz and eventually ramping down to .25hz. Sometimes, I'll wake up later due to the headphones still being on my head, but it's easy to fall back. -I find that instead of lying in bed for a really long time trying to sleep, getting up briefly for a drink or something, then going back to bed, helps. I think it's just a psychological trigger that one is getting back into bed to start afresh again, opposed to remaining in a stagnative "when the heck am I gonna descend into slumber" state. -Cannabis is always an assistance when available(which is never-remember it's against the rules folks), low dose or occasionally high when smoked. Sometimes, a high dose of a sativa dominant strain can keep one up(or, for someone who is not acclimated to its effects). -Some people find nyquil to work, but i cant remember trying myself. Just remember to never go beyond the recommended dosage with that as acetaminophen is dangerous for the liver in high dosages. Pseudo..... can also cause nausea. -A small amount of alcohol puts me to sleep easily, but i find myself awake again after about 2 rem cycles(~3hrs later) and it's hard to fall back. The results of others may vary. -Some people like benadryl. But again, stay with a low dose. More than recommended can cause leg swarming and uncomfortable body sensations. Higher dosages still will begin the classic anticholinergic effects. Fascinating(yet very dangerous) stuff, but surely not something one who wants to snooze would desire. Take no more than 75mg of diphenhydramine to sleep. Even so, some simply have a hard time sleeping with this stuff. 93 93/93 Last edited by Action Park; 11-03-2008 at 12:17 AM. |

i dont take pills, nor smoke week. i usually just try to get my room as dark as possible, throw on some chill acoustic music, and lay down chillin. i dont try to force myself asleep, i just chill. usually gets me comfy enough to pass out in like 10 or 15 minutes.
