this si is a dog! i drove it. my car pulls harded then his. he beat me i aint gunna lie, but thats what happens with clutch slip and wheel spin. i already ran 2 or 3 of them from a roll and beat each one of them. new si's are nothing to be proud of. spend close to if not 20k on one and get beat by single cams

I haven't seen a single one run faster than 15.0 at the strip...not once...I don't even know why people buy them, an MS3 is 2k more and has better handling, more cargo room, more power, more torque, better interior IMO, and room to actually do mods.

can this not be a bash new si thread makes me sad I own one =/ I love my car tho. I just don't think people should be tryna race everyone in the new si. I mean everyone had to admit a 2.0 I4 that produces 197 crank (185 wheel) N/A setup is pretty good I mean ms3 r dope but the turbo gives it most it power what's the regular 2.3 mazda3 do? I mean its a nice car I like it I would want something faster but the si is not ur everyday race car even tho every1 makes it out to be.

I'm sure they can go faster, just haven't seen one do it, not in person anyway. I know of a black sedan that is pretty damn quick running all motor, and a turbo coupe around here, but aside from that, I've yet to see an impressive one.

That's 14.7 on a fully bolted and flashed Si...I run 14.7 if I miss a shift, or bog or spin the launch. They are not fast cars by any means

Actually I remember I went 14.9 with a bogged launch AND missing 2nd, and my car is slow LOL

yea none of them. I have seen the ball go both ways in a variety of cases.

Most? You know how many bolt on Si's there are in philly? You raced how many 4-5? How is that most?

Wow, this thread is fail. I'm going to the track soon. I'll let you know if I run high or low 15's. You know, since that's all that Si's are capable of.

Of course it's slow. It's a N/A 2.0L car. It's plenty of fun for the average driver.
