STI somewhere around 11am or something on Millcreek Parkway, heading towards edgely, stopped at the Millcreek and Haines light.

If it was someone on here, you witnessed a saturn not turning in teh water and kinda half skidding before it got traction...at 5mph.

A blue scoobie? Thats like saying I saw a Honda today. BUt it sounds like your saturn is having some traction issues

I never would have thought that running on tires that have about the same amount of tread as slicks would have traction issues. Go figure.

Nah, if you hit the brakes when skidding (at least in a saturn) you'll just skid farther and harder. The e-brake has a tendency to twist the rear end just enough to help the front gain traction when you understeer....usually. Shouldn't have to touch it more than once.
