Seeing as I work for AIG Auto insurance...I can tell you very few places will. But I'm sure someone out there will. It probably won't be the cheapest though. Let us know who you get to write it...if you do get someone.

You should always give them the VIN before purchasing a car. Mostly this is to be sure they give you an accurate quote, but in this case it would have saved you the hassle.

Try essurance as well. You might also want to look at companies to do insurance on specialty vehicles.

If you don't find someone to insure it by Wednesday give me a call at 215-630-1903, TIM. I'm going to start working for AllState and maybe the guy I'm working for will be able to write something up for you.

Have you tried http://www.hagerty.com/
Just a thought although the rates may be killer... but do you have the choice.

I bought my focus new in early '01, I was 20 years old, and I financed the car for $300/month. I thought nothing of insurance as it was a pos econo box- After calling every company I could think of the cheapest I could find insurance for was $325/month. For a ****ing focus, but what could I do- bend over and think happy thoughts.
