Is it worth going to h2oi just as a spectator? Does it go on all day or do the cops try to get everyone to leave? It's not as wild as it may be made to seem. Not from what I've seen. Unless you were doing something really stupid the cops weren't that bad. There was no running from lot to lot to escape the cops.
I was out from 9am till 9pm and enjoyed 12 hours of watching nice cars cruising around with some hooning mixed in.

Fellow LEO here, I'm the same way with the car guys in town. As long as they aren't doing burnouts and being hoonigans i don't mess with them. I usually end up pulling in to the local hangouts while on duty to chat. For the most part the tuners are respectful.

I think the stance car kids got out of hand the last few years in Ocean City and the city, along with PD decided to shut it down.
