Not 100% sure for preludes but more than likely it is located on the top of the cat...you could also try and tap off the wire that goes into the ecu...

duh troll! clearly he got the new suzuki racing motor that rev's up to 11,000 rpms but everytime he takes it down akina it feels slower and handles worse because hes only been revving it to 8,000. how could you ever expect him to beat the lan-evo without it!?

they sell just shift lights. but by the time you see the light and shift you'll over rev it anyway. Just learn to drive.

There should be a tach test wire underneath the hood. Thats the line i installed my shift light in my 98 civic ex when i had it!

looking at my haines manual it should be a blue wire on the driverside right by where the fire wall and fender meet up top! Hope this helps!

To do it correctly you would need to tap into the ignition signal wire going into the ECU. But, you really shouldn't do this anyway. If you can't shift right a monster tach is not gonna help you. Learn to drive right.

so you're gonna come on here and ask how you can put an unnecessary oversized 2F2F tach on your stock car and then when people are nice enough to hold in their real opinions and even try to help you you insult them?
maybe you should try a different forum... doesnt look like you need our help.
