How do you decide what to do next mod wise?

I'm having a bit of trouble deciding what to do next. I'm out of work and on a "fixed income" but I have cash to spare...but I can't decide if I want to clean the looks up a bit, create a more comfortable ride (escort = gokart suspension, lol), or power. I have a bazillion leads on turbo manifolds and turbos and it would take a lousy weekend to boost into the 13s. Or I could get the car resprayed and a nice set of 15inch stock rims painted to look better.

How do you guys decide? I think I want power but I've been down the city so much having my car eat potholes and taking chicks out that a cleaner ride would be benificial. Besides a new heater core and exhaust that I've got covered, the car needs no maintence at all.

not to be a naysayer,.. but being out of work and spare cash are not two things that usually go together. why not hold onto the money until things are looking better?
