Stupid light bulbs

I posted this in the electrical section as well, but i wanted to get some VW feedback as well...

"So Shortly after i got my car inspected i noticed i had a brake light out. I didnt think anything of it since the car is 4 years old at this point. Well the other day i had a headlight blow out, so i went to the dealer to pick up 2 new bulbs and proceeded to replace both bulbs. So all my lights are working at this point, i drive home from work and double check to make sure everything is ok and i notice now one of my running tail lamps is out! Maybe its a coinsidence, but i feel like maybe theres a ground loose somewhere? Anyone have problems like this before?"

Im gonna go buy yet another bulb and hope nothing else blows out, if it does im gonna have to hunt down the cause of this which isnt going to be fun

agreed. mkiv's and electrical problems go hand in hand. i recently had a running light, headlight, and fog light go out withing a week. all replaced and they have been fine. wait and see if something else goes out
