Guys is still the youngest to ever climb Everest and he was British special forces, even if he has people following him on the show it doesn't change that before the show he was doing some crazy stuff lol.

ok people over anayze things too much. the show is a what if this happens to me and i come across this. thats all. its not about him trying to survive, its more about showing you what to do. either way that bear > survivorman.

i like survivor man better cuz he's just your average joe and they throw him into the wilderness with a few things and its cool because he's all alone with no help whatsoever

The episode with Bear on the deserted island was crazy when he was on his ****hole boat and all the sharks around him.

That video is hilarious, but I do have to agree with Jspek, the show is suposed to inform you of what to do in a bad situation not prove over and over again that Bear Grylls can and will survive. Bear > Survivorman.

But Bear takes very unnecessary that are almost not worth the risk, if your stranded in the wilderness. Les Stroud actually uses more effective means of survival. The last thing you want to do is get hurt when your lost.
