I've been into saturns for years, and i tried to get out of the game a few months ago. i bought a 00 formula, and a 99 formula. my 00 formula was my DD, then i hydrolocked the engine, so it was time for a new DD. so i bought a 99 saturn SWP. SWP is the saturn wagon that was produced in very low numbers for rural mail routes. saturn did also produce RHD cars to send to japan for a few years.

so 2 weeks ago i got this car and this is how it looked.

and yes it really is RHD

the recent changes have been, 5% sides, 20% hatch. i the painted bumpers, sideskirts, and door handles because i hate the factory unmatched bumpers. i cut the springs because i'm having a hard time finding the set of springs i want. i also took my old wheels off my turbo saturn and sanded them down and painted them.

here are the wheels, they are 15'' OZ ultraleggaras, 350z lemans sunset orange. they were messed up bad when i had the tires mounted, so they will be getting powder coated soon, if i decide to keep this color.

i'm putting the wheels on tonight to see how i like the color on the car. i love the color, just wanna make sure i like it with the car. i also have some stickers to put on tonight so those pics will be up too.

the future plans for this car are DOHC, 5spd, turbo. it should happen in 3-4 weeks as long as the car i'm buying doesn't get sold before i make room for it. the goal will be to run a 13.5 @ 105 or so. plenty of fun for the streets, and it should be a blast to autocross.

Steve, did you ever decide what you were going to do about the Clutch Pedal? Were you going to try to source another Brake pedal linkage and try and use that or fab something up on your own?

Probably gonna end up using a cable setup. It should only take one special mount for the pedal and one pivot point on the bellhousing

nah, i changed the album they were in without fixing the links.

yeah, rhd saturns were never made in manual.

I'll have to keep my eyes out for it. Not that anyone ever gets spotted in Delran. I could be doing a burnout in the middle of 130 and no one would see it.
