That's going along with the chassis strengthening, I'm debating between a roll bar or what is in the black vert with the s14 front end. I kind of want to put off getting a new top so I can have money for the engine build, but I'm tired of getting rained on, and I think the back window may peal off after a few more months. Paints definitely going to be last though. |

Small little update. I finally have fender liners again so I can pass inspection and not feel worried with wiring harnesses sticking out. Also picked up some oem mud flaps for $10, which included the fender liners, S14 seats for $35, and I'm currently in the process of getting a differential out of a 96 J30.
I thought it was warm enough to go topless a few Mondays ago, heard a loud crack when the top got halfway down The wind is starting to take it's toll on it too, so I guess I should make getting a new top my first priority. I'm not sure what I think about these yet, I kinda like them. I thought the studded tires were awesome for a while, because of sparking pavement ripping burnouts, but I want to put all seasons back on the car. It's not like it's going to snow bad enough here anyway. I thought they had way too much lumbar support at first, but I quickly grew into them, and my back doesn't hurt after driving an hour anymore. The car hasn't been washed in almost two months, which rarely happens, just have been busy or it's way too cold to want to wash it. It will be clean again Sunday. The guy who came to pick up my seats had a Silvia front. It was my first time seeing one in person, and I really liked it with the triple beam projectors and a pignose lip, so I may have to get one eventually. Still torn between staying flip up, or going fixed headlights |

Haha, I hope it at least last until this summer so I have the money to replace it.
Thanks, should be starting on the manual swap late this month or early next month. So I'll finally have what I always wanted. Well, mostly. The ones in your sig look pretty sweet. That car is pretty much how I want my car to look, minus the pink and wangan wing. |

So I got a J30 diff from Chaz's you pull it in Taneytown for $31.80 And since I'm gready I grabbed the one out of the other 95, but it's going in another friends 240.
Knocked the rust flakes off, and hit with with rosteluem semi gloss black, swapped the rear cover with a cleaned up s13 cover, and filled it up so it's ready to go in, I hope. Being the impatient man I am I went out into the cold with a single digit wind chill and started ripping out my old diff. It's all unbolted and ready to come out, but I lost the feeling in my hands and feet, and had more than enough salt and dirt land in my mouth and eyes, so I called it quits for right now. Pics, and maybe a video to come later. |
