Been a while since an update and here it is:

Welding is done on strut towers, now if I can find a pair of RE92's I can move the car to its new better facility to finish her up. Still need to grind the corners and everything else I couldn't reach with a 4" grinder, but you get the idea.

That's a huge compliment, thank you. I'm going to add a recent fabrication job to my fab thread now

so are we talking track car....like autoX track...or...drag strip track.???

Im leaning more towards the drag track side due to the size of the enlarged wheel wells. I cant imagine youd be needing tires that big for autoX but i dont know if your just going for girth.

Def a road course setup. Looks like it's coming along very well

Edit: What size wheels are you planning on running, 10"?

Lots of guesses but... To be honest I haven't decided for sure.

I'd like to have the option of super wide rubber if needed, but the number one reason for these fenders is that they will be a part of the major chassis reinforcement when the project is done.

As for wheels I'll probably have a 7" street set and 9.5" track set.

Hey Jake, do you have a shop yet? Or are you doing this all in your garage?

I'm about to move the car to the location that could end up being the shop (fingers crossed it works out). But yes, up until now it's been in the 'ol garage.

This is a subaru we're talking about, so reliability limits me to tried and true methods

It will at least be be something interesting either way, I promise

Almost forgot to update here!

New plan: Let's get this thing on the road!!!

I finally settled down in a new place so here is the latest (primer). I really like how the mini tubs/reinforced fenders turned out.

Here's something die-hard Subie fans like myself might get excited about- it looks like my original plan of 2.2 liters might actually be a possibility for this car.

Who's running a 22T? I haven't paid any attention to anything but 205's and 257's since waaay back in the day!
