Methanol injection?

So ive tried reading stuff and i sort of understand what it is, but in basic terms what are the pros and cons. I currently have a cooling mist stage one kit at home that i got on a trade but im not sure what to do with it...i have a 2007 mazdaspeed3 with a few bolt ons but nothing really crazy, yet.
What are the hp gains?
pros/cons?
how practical is it.

what kinda boost are you running?

it helps keep IAT down for more dense air and also helps control detonation

you might see a slight improvement but don't expect miracles im also a little skeptical about running it on untuned cars...BUT i come from the world of compression ignition so maybe its totally different

im 90% positive im not running it just curious...slight improvement as in like 5whp or like 40whp or wheres most of the power going

in you're application maybe 10-20 tops i would imagine... thats running 50/50. think of it as cool air on tap for your motor. thats what the companies are called "coolingmist" and "snow"

Meth Injection is a late mod. You really won't see any huge gains until your running higher boost

You'll need to tune it to make power. It helps prevent knock and det so this gives you a safety netting to push the tune. There's more to it but you get the idea.

It really shines in the summer temps where your IAT's rise dramatically. I had a meth kit hooked up on my supercharged car and there was an extreme difference in IAT's running with the meth. Hell, without it the intake components, especially the supercharger, would get hot. While running and making a few hard pulls they were cool to the touch.
