Twin Turbo IS F Pics/Dyno Video - Back in York, PA.

I just back the Fox Marketing/Artisan Twin Turbo Lexus IS F from Houston and just had at the Baltimore Auto Show and Tuner War over the past month. The car sounds like a fighter jet and if any of you want to see it let me know. Car put down 527hp and 492 ft/lb or torque on the dyno.

Here are some shots:

Here is the Dyno Video:

remote turbo's...sweet. Why don't more company's / tuners use this set up? What are the benefits/costs?

benefits of rear mount turbos are lower under hood temps, more room generally, but there are drawbacks also...more plumbing (extra weight, slower spool time) and also oiling becomes a problem...if you have an oil pump sending oil back to the turbo all it takes is a blown fuse and there goes your turbo/motor. They have their place and sound absolutely sick, but if it were me id go underhood everytime.

they are popular with the corvette guys too

rear mount FTL. and 527 is poor to say the least for a TT setup on this car. you could easily eclipse 7-800 with twin GT30's or 35's running low boost

there are benefits and drawbacks to doin everything. they just dont have the space under the hood for 2 gtr's....atleast not without a little massaging. and its "only" makin 527hp....did ya ever stop to think that its a stock motor with probably 10+:1 compression and cant run alot of boost??? theres a reason for everything so you should think about it before you post something like that. its makin 150 more hp over stock which is pretty stout. just b/c you have 2 turbos doesnt mean you have to make retarded hp...know what im sayin?
