so i went to atco last sunday and totally burnt out my clutch. it was a stock clutch with around 32k miles on it. i figured it was bound to happen sooner or later so i decided to get an ACT heavy duty street clutch kit, and street lite flywheel. i got them on monday, and started the install on tuesday morning. i worked on the car until 4pm, then started to put it all back together on wednesday morning. everything went together fine, but when i started the car to put it in gear, it felt like the clutch was pre-engauged. so i checked everything twice, and called around for advice, and got some ideas of what it might be. nothing solved the problem. i took a brake, and came back to it on thursday morning. and still couldn't get it right, so i limped it to reedman/toll subaru and told them the situation, and asked if they could check it, and get it working properly. to make a long story short, the ACT pressure plate and clutch disk will not work properly in my car so reedmans highly recommends me putting a stock pressure plate an clutch disk in. but they did say i can use my street lite flywheel with the stock stuff. now i'm stuck with an brand new ACT clutch that i don't know what to do with. theres more to the story but i gotta go, sorry to have turned this into a rant :p

Wait, if ACT makes that clutch for your car it should fit. Call ACT and get a replacement.

yea really maybe they sent the wrong one or a broke one get it replaced. I believe ACT won't have a problem
