how long did it take you to get your elevate tune? my friend ordered the tuner and had it within like 2 days, but it's been two weeks now and they still have no ETA on when the tune is going to be done. He paid for second day air so he could have the tune for last weekend because Elevate does not specify the tune is not preloaded or available for download once received.

Hey clubken. My tune was available for download pretty soon after i received the softloader via UPS. maybe a couple days or so.
i'm assuming he got the softloader? tell him to plug it into his PC and follow the steps to load the tune to the softloader. it may already be available.
I know that Peter (Autotech in Sweden / writes the tunes) has been hard at work on the K16 turbo upgrade tune so not sure if other stuff has been delayed.
but it would be worthwhile to plug it in to PC and follow the steps as it may be available.
The tune itself really transforms the car. your friend is about to be very happy.
I'm assuming he already reached out to Don @ Elevate but multiple phone calls / emails might help. I have had zero issues but many say his customer service is meh...

Yeah we connected it to the computer the day he got it an they had not even begun working on his tune. They sent one for download the other day with his correct vin but it wasn't even programmed for his ecu type or something. Going on two weeks with emails every few days. He ordered their short runner and if it's nearly as much of a hassle as their crap lowering springs and this tuner have been then it's going back.

been awhile since i updated this thread.
added:
new slotted rotors all 4 corners
SS brake lines
Hawk pads
Motul brake fluid
1 step colder plugs
HD coilpacks
Elevate intake:

didnt trust my butt dyno for the placebo effect but a friend that drives my car occasionally said there was a noticeable difference with the new intake.
Hoping to get it on the R/T Mustang dyno to get the numbers. i have two separate sessions with nearly identical numbers from previous runs so it would be interesting to see if the open filter really offers any power gains to the wheels.

Previously ran stock intake box setup with sport panel filter:

so a deer tried to headbutt my driverside mirror. both lost.
the mirror was the only damage. the impact with drivers door was loud but no a scratch. frackin' swedes apparently build it to take on moose. the puddle light and turn signal were still working on this mess!
deer: writhing around in pain needed buckknife to the throat to end the misery.
mirror: xploded. luckily for this guy i already had a spare bought off ebay to swap in. had a small crack in the plastic from a high speed pass by with an a6 on the crazy back woods twisties of bucks county.

So I added Heico pedals & Eurosport Tuning dead pedal:

Closeup of the business pedal:

And Heico shift knob i picked up off of Ebay....it is there "automatic" version but works just fine in my manual:

Heico is a Volvo performance parts company based in Germany. I love their stuff but it is spendy as hell. i have been lucky to save some $$$ by buying some of the stuff used (wheels and shift knob).
