They arent full balanced cranks. If you have cash and can do it. I would suggest going with a full built AMS long block. But with a quality, damper, and precise machining I am sure you can use what you have. Just don't skimp on the parts, and machining.

well i just ordered pistons and rods for my ka. where do you recommend i do my machine work done and what damper would you recommend? and i dont have enough money for the long block or the short block lol

I always use speed equipment corp. I would let them inspect the block and crank/journals before you order bearings. Let them determine what size you will need and then go from there.

yeah ive heard of them. sounds like a plan and i just canceled my order lol looking at the ams performance website. they have some good stuff... still not sure what im going to do yet tho. thanks for the help kev
