Right now its a truck owned by Tropical auto carriers on it's way to me. And then my 240 goes on that truck to Colorado. In order to ship them safely we maxed the coilovers up and made them 4x4's

my 4x4 240

Here is whats going on. The dash lights stay on when running, and the next time you start the car the battery is dead. The series 2 engine was built and tuned using a wiring specialties harness in a S13 then removed shortly after and installed into the series 1 R33. The old owner sourced a RB25 Series 2 R33 harness on ebay, but when he go it it was all cut up. He tried to repair it, but has given up.

I have a R33 RB25DET series 2 harness with some cuts, FSM, schematics and all of the prints. I am going to make a good harness, and get this on the road.

Plans -
Fix harness
Fluids
Have the tune checked out and retuned if needed
Paint and install OEM GTS spoiler
Enjoy JDM goodness until I figure out what I want to do with it. I want to put the S15 HLSD in it, but there is no way unless I have axles made up.

You'll love driving the car. They bring a ton of attention, But that's somtimes good, And bad. When my girlfriend is in mine with me (My daugther sits right behind her seat), My g/f sits almost backwards in the seat to talk/etc with the baby. It freaks ALOT of people out at first glance hahaha!

The car looks great, Once again. I'd love to see the car in person too !

On to better things..... I started looking over the wiring harness that I got from Pride performance and what do you know 7 cut wires. I ohmed them back and marked them, then using a print in Japanese I located them there. Appears that one lonely connector was cut off.

Connector "W1 on the top of this pic with some Japanese under it"
Physically located next to

Other than that the new harness is good, I expect the harness on the car has this connector, if not I am going to reach out to wiring specialties to see if they can send me one. The issue with the car is the battery drains, and the harness on the car is a hacked up nightmare. I am also going to redo the power harness, then from there see what she is doing. The good is I am an electrical engineer with tons of test equipment so with the proper one lines and schematics I can trace what ever my findings are for the parasitic loss.

One thing at a time.... Car is being delivered Friday.

LMK which connector you need, I may have one off another harness. I remember telling you the harness was in good condition but wasn't sure if anything was cut. For $100 I think it was well worth it no?

Not sure if you were trying to take a jab at me by your comment up top or not. If you weren't, no worries I misunderstood it in the context it was written. If you were, well your more than welcome to return it for a refund.

I know the histroy on that 33. I think the trade you made was worth it.

No jabs, just stating the facts that there was one connector cut, but in all fairness you got it from JDM engine depot and thats what they do (no offense I think they suck). Not mad at all 100 was a great deal on the harness.
