vwtechx 91 VR6 GTI*DYNO RESULTS ADDED*
When I got it Fitting the corrado dash and column Body work in the bay Engine going in 6 weeks after start Drove the car like that for the rest of 2010. Over the winter I realized that the N/A VR6 just wasnt quite enough for me. So I dug out all the turbo stuff I collected for my corrado and started ripping. A quick video trying out the Gtech http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6WynGWGhX8 Got tired of looking at the sportmaxxs so I finished polishing my porsche phonedials and mounted them up Thats how the car sits right now. Just enjoying driving it and over winter Id like to add and change a few things. The link to my photo album is below for anyone who wants to take a look at all the pics I have of the build and its transformations http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/vwtech80/my%20gti/ Last edited by Vwtechx; 08-20-2011 at 09:12 PM. impressive for sure... Ive driven a GTI VR6 24v with simply a K&N filter / magnaflow exhaust / tune. I thought it was a fun fast car for sure ( the VR6 roar is also quite nice )... I couldnt even imagine what it would feel / sound like with a turbo ! especially in a " street legal go kart " lol

Thanks. It can be a handful. Right now I'm running an open dump tube so it's hard to hear anything but that. That's one of the changes for winter time.

Holy hell this is an awesome build...i love dubs and a vrT is hard to beat in any format! Do you own/work at a shop because that was quite a turnaround you had in just 6 weeks with the car

very nice! I love MK2's and its tough to find them in good condition. Did you do all the body work yourself too? I do pretty much all of my own work but don't know body work so I have to take it somewhere for that unfortunately.
