Talking Favorite Haunted Attractions?

Well, I know it's a good month ahead of time, but some of these attractions open up in September too. Just like my ice cream list, lets make list of our favorite haunted attractions in the area - hayrides, mazes, houses, woods, old prisons/asylums, etc. I know some of these are "overrated" (And overpriced) but most are still a good time. Apple cider doughnuts anyone?

Bates Motel (House, maze, hayride) - Glen Mills, PA - http://www.thebatesmotel.com/

Valley of Fear (House, woods, hayride) - Trevose, PA - http://valleyoffear.com/

Terror Behind the Walls (Old penitentiary) - Fairmount - Philadelphia, PA - http://www.easternstate.org/halloween

*Pennhurst Asylum (Former Asylum - Voted #1 in the US in 2010) - Spring City, PA - http://www.pennhurstasylum.com/

*I have not personally been here, but the "professional reviews" look good.

Post your favorites!

Bates Motel was hands down the best I have been to last year. Hopefully I will be able to make it to it this year.

I don't think many of them are actually scary, but if you're bringing a little kid, I can see them being a bit scary.

Pennhurst was "spooky" before they turned it into an attraction and you actually had to sneak in. Trust me, being alone in that place with a flash light and 4 friends is much scarier than a "haunted nuthouse". But with that being said, If you've never gone, it is worth the money to go once. I went last year and enjoyed myself.

Bates Motel got me pretty good lol.

But I'm good at clearing my mind and actually having fun lol. I like being scared.

never been to any of these but just going on the bates hotel website gets your blood pumping but i agree when you go somewhere that is set up it is a lot scarier because you always hear things no matter what

Creamy acres.

I'm more into driving through the pine barens with a bunch of people taking the road less traveled hoping we dont get murdered.

Ever sat in the Pine Barrens, middle of the night, in your vehicle and turned the lights off? I was on 70 west of Cedar Glen Lakes at about 1am on my motorcycle. Pulled over to text a friend. No cars for miles at that time. I decided what the hell, and turned my ignition off. I've never seen dark like that before!

I've wheeled Wharton before at night, but that's always with a few other Jeeps and people, and we all have portable daylight thanks to our lighting setups. Just gotta watch out for some of those Pineys!
