awesomely enough i got it all together in there and wrapped it up running and driving

tossed it on the rollers and made
740whp to the tire on 23psi on pumpgas and methanol thru a th400

just after the dyno pulls i added an ethanol content sensor for fun and drizzled in some e85 to watch it go up and see how it compensates

works great.

im at my power goal, and now im going to weigh it when the weather breaks, im on track for a high 8 sec pass with a china turbo and a pieced together longblock etc etc

Good to see you posting. I've been watching religiously on youtube. Although I appreciate the garage burnout, I can't wait to see it haze the tires from a roll, haha.

apparently the ethanol content sensor will tell you fuel temp.
china gates are holding 200kpa very nicely without the boost controller turned on so i will be able to clear mid 20s at the track hopefully without much resistance, and the car weighs 2900lbs without me in it (had to go inside to pay to get a printout) but with 15gallons of gas in it also. about right where i wanted it, 3100 race weight or less.
interestingly she said that scale is down to the 1lb increment, so that thing is 2900 EVEN

he got what he felt was a fair price, but didnt want to divulge the exact #. He now has a 4cyl chevy colorado that he is going to ls swap, this time he is challenging himself to retain A/C and keep it as his "work truck" should be an interesting build for sure! He'll probably start on it as soon as he an his buddy finish the turbo civic

Is he still posting anywhere? I was following the threads on the sloppymechanics FB group, but they booted everyone but the originals out of the group, made it private, and then made a different public group.
