i made the hole swap, bumper headlights and fenders. i didnt like the side markers on the fenders or the bumper. plus not a big fan of the round fogs. the sedan bumper is actually shorter than the stock one. shorter meaning how far sticks out from the front grill.

Here it is with racing beat's really really lean tune. My AFRs dont go lower that 14.0 throughout the entire torque band.

I'm trying to get dyno tuned with a working PCM in the next few months. My tuner said just by adjusting my fuel tables i can expect +20whp.

I love those silly stickers.

I may, may be getting dyno tuned by my tuner in october. I should put down ~210whp. Another guy with the same setup pulled those numbers.

What AFR's are you going to try to tune for? Is your igintion/split map stock?

My ignition is aftermarket but this Racine Beat tune doesn't account for it. My AFRs past 4k should be in the 12-13's at least.

^ you're going to piss off the rx-8 guys with that one lol. I agree the FD is better, but whatever the RX-8 is, is not bad.

I don't mind getting into an argument about this. I have an RX7 and love it to death. I've put everything in that car. Even when it was bone stock with the twins i still enjoyed it more than driving my friends RX8. When I looked more into it I was very disappointed with what I found out about the RX8.

Why the new engine? What are the RX-8's supposed to put down stock? TIA

Well you are a lucky man. I love the rx8's handling but i can't speak personally about the rx7 since i never did a HPDE or TimeAttack in one. IMO the rx-8 should have came with a small turbo or had a MazdaSpeed RX-8 with a turbo. I was going to put a turbo in mine, but I can't foot the bill yet.

160-180 to the wheel. My PCM is being reflashed to stock so I can be retuned with the AccessPort. I'm completely disgusted with their tunes and their customer service.

I should be putting down 210-220 with all my other mods, maybe even more.

I'll give you one thing. You can do a lot to an RX-8 i mean same to an RX-7. Personally I say RX-7 is better at dragging RX-8 is better at drifting. One question I have is how the heck do you flip an RX-8!?!? My friend flipped his yesterday. How do you flip it?? It's so low to the ground it just seems so hard to me.

WHAT! how the hell did he manage that?! I've drifted and hit a bump...then my LSD had all my power going to the one side that was still on the ground. But I corrected... Either way, it still doesn't add up.

Back to rx7s and rx8s. I completely agree, rx7s can be nasty drag cars. And rx8s with 20b's can be nasty drift cars.
