Haha, I want to go pshh! But the pshhh factor adds on like $500 extra to the price tag...which is why I am having a tough time deciding because the lift is about $700, and the turbo parts minus the turbo run about the same.

I am not really looking at the money factor as much as I want to do it right. The truck is in pretty good shape minus some rust on the bed. Motor has 98k original miles on it, just had a new clutch put in with a bunch of other parts.

Haha, that was my original idea. However, doing a 302 swap and keeping 4x4 is a bitch, which is why I am not doing that anymore.

Edit: Nope, 7.5. haha. She's tiny.

i see... I would lift it first, then tinker with the engine. the stock engine will last forever, so i would **** with it last.

That it was I figured. I was going to actually put the 2.3L turbo motor from a Mustang SVO or Merkur, but the deal with the parts car fell through.

I guess I will be lifting it

I successfully locked my keys in my truck today. I also successfully got the door unlocked with a broom stick as a wedge and a shelf support beam from my buddies store.
