bad news fellas...it came to my attention last night at the meet that there may be a rod knock in my engine...not good...i didnt notice it before cause i cant even hear it inside the car...but i got out and heard it too...so im pretty pissed right now and have to get my car checked out...i have nooooo money to get anything done so i dont know what the hell to do, wish i won the lottery

The Monte is an 85 i picked up from Ash's family. Nothing special: 305 V8, beat TH350 trans, torn vinyl top, saggy springs. But it runs.
Possible project car down the road, since it is a classic now. ;)

I think this forum is slow because domestics don't break like imports do so the tech forum has nothing in it.... hahaha... I can hold down the domestics too!

Apparently Saturn didn't get that memo. My engine needs rebuilt, my catalytic converter just died, it needs bushings and strut mounts, and my sunroof died. Hey Saturn:

Everything breaks if you beat it. I have pieces of the bottom end of my Camaro motor in my toolbox. I have 3 dead domestic shortblocks in my garage.
It's all in the prep and the maintainance.
