I've driven one. Fast as hell, but I could never get used to the driving position of something like that. I'd rather drive an Evo or STi. Almost as fast, but way more comfortable.

I don't know, I just wasn't sold on it. I can think of better ways to spend 50 grand.

Uh, since when are 115mph cars 'almost' as fast as 100mph ones?

Factory turbocharged vette? Am i missing something? I know GM turboed firebirds in the mid-late 80's but i never heard of a vette coming turboed from the factory. Specs and pics are needed.

Then? Unless you're talking about ice racing, it's way faster in every other way too...

Yep, you're right. WAY faster. In EVERY way. I'm not going to argue with you.

All I am saying is that if I had 53 grand to buy a car, I would not buy a corvette. I would probably buy a STi. It's almost as fast, well....unless you're on a racetrack. In real world conditions on the street, I would put a STi against a Vette any day.

And with the 20 grand you save, you could make it WAY faster than the Vette in EVERY way.

I'm not trying to start a flamewar dude. I like STis and the vettes for their own attributes, let's not lower ourselves to the dead-horse speed/money arguement.
