Vibration between 20-30mph ONLY

I have a small vibration in my 08 Corolla. It was worse today when I was driving and noticed my one lower rear strut bolt wasnt torqued right, so i tightened it. It made it a little better, but its between 20-30mph and does it in every gear. Well in 2nd and 3rd, 4th is too low to try. But it is worse in second. Not sure what it is, it also only during 1/4 or more throttle. Very light acceleration wont make it vibrate much. Any specific places i should check?

I already did the fronts before and just did the rears. Thinking it is due to my alignment being way out of wack. but not sure. Ill check it tomorrow.

Yes, lowered on coilovers. I think I am going to try to get one tomorrow, even though my new wheels aren't on yet. Need to see if the one leak will stop. Plus walmart wouldn't fix it because their machine couldn't seat the bead.

Sounds like wheel balance or a bad axle. I'd be surprised if an alignment fixed this.

Hmm, bad axles did not seem like it matched with my problem. But im thinking about fitting my front porsche wheels that are balanced and see how it works. Because when i had different wheels on before i think i remember the shake not being there

1) wheels do not effect your alignment unless your doing something custom as far as camber but even then with a good tech they can dial it in if you know your wheel specs

2) i wouldnt put good wheels on to have the car aligned anyway

3) dont use walmart to fix your car, ever

Definitely check your lugs, just to be on the safe side.

Also, even if it has nothing to do with the problem you're experiencing, it's my understanding that when lowering the car and playing with the suspension, you should always have it aligned after, anyway so it would be a good idea to get this done even if you find out the vibration is coming from something else!

Not sure, that was my first guess. But now it isnt doing it as much it seems. So maybe it is the tire balance that is doing it and the loose strut bolt multiplied it.

Not the wheels, i put coilovers on and dropped the car a pretty decent amount so my alignment is effed. What i meant though is that with the new wheels I am going to get them fitted, fenders rolled, aligned, etc. so I meant I was going to get one just for now, and get one again when i get my wheels fitted. And yeah they couldn't mount my 205's on a 9.5" rim so i went to a BMW shop and they did it in 10 minutes and it was a couple bucks cheaper so i found a new shop.

Yeah lugs are easy so ill check them. Luckily its not shaking as much after tightening down my rear lower strut nut. But I deff need an alignment, I was scared driving on 95 to get my wheels because it was sketchy. I just wanted to get my porsches on so i can do that whole wheel fitment thing at once.

Never thought I would see the day when Wal-Mart would do something right by not mounting 205s on a 9.5" wheel.

he means a 205 is too narrow for a 9.5 wheel. hell even a 225 is a stretch for that wide of a wheel

ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew

i think you have bigger issues than a wobble... LIKE YOU HAVE 205 WIDTH TIRES ON A 9.5 WIDE WHEEL!
Reason for doing this?
