Mike, If you'd like - I MIGHT be able to match the ends going to our steering rack and get a custom 1 piece looped setup.
Problem is I wouldn't be able to get to the shop i deal with until next week. With 1 person, it takes 3 hours to drain and remove everything from the factory system. In your case it might be a tad harder since you don't want to flush the system, you just want the pump out and lines looped. Or, you can go to your local hydraulic shop and have them make you a single looped line. You can borrow one of my spare lines for reference to get one made to the same thread pitch and diameter. If you don't mind cutting your factory line. I'd suggest cutting the end off at the pump- flip the entire line over the side and extend the 3/8" ID cooler line to the pump's main line. That way you would do away with the pump and resi and have the lines looped at the cooler. Of course this method would mean you have the stock line running over the driver side mount and visible... possibly needing a hose clamp screwed in at some point. Just some options... |

Which method would you like to do? I'm jobless - so unfortunately time is something I have an abundance of lol. Just finished my ps system, but didn't loop the lines. Let me know which way you would like to try. All I have this week is to work on my usual small projects and get my radiator support straightened out before Sunday. |
