In Lehigh Valley area I just got .45 cents a pound for cast aluminum. Those wheels are probably 20 pounds so $10 a wheel.
I would like to know what place pays a $1 a pound cause I would go there. I have never seen it that high. |

I just got 63c a lb for aluminum wheels at atlas trader by the international airport. Aluminum cans have been bringing around 65, so if you have a party, collect the cans, then travel down to philly, you should have enough for another party and a tank of gas.

call the yard you would be taking them to...they will give you a price per pound usually by weekly basis

A guy here at work turns stuff in to Lansdale every so often and he mentioned the price of $.35 so he is probably getting the dirty price. He last turned some in last month.
