Okay - had it with this damn halogen cutoff. I'm going to take the projectors apart and adjust the uptick. I want a shorter, HID style cutoff.

Just got the brackets. Unfortunately the guy sent me 4 low beam, instead of 2 high, 2 low. Issue is both the overall shape (round vs. oval) and the bolt pattern. Here's a shot of what I mean. These are the high beam projectors in the low beam bracket:

That sucks. Is there a way you can make them work without having to wait for the right ones?

Technically I can. I would have to drill out 4 new holes per bracket on the 2 brackets. As you can see in the photo there would be empty space around the projector which would not look as aesthetically pleasing. I just messaged another guy who does the brackets to see what he can do for me. I'm not in a huge rush, but it would be nice to have this all taken care of by the new year.

Exactly. I have interest for the one pair of brackets and still haven't heard back from the highs. That guy is never online.....

Anyway: Purchased some mounting hardware and mounted the brackets. I'm going to run them as-is. If I don't like the look I'm going to paint 'em:

I reinstalled the lows, this time with brackets. Still need to aim them. Also debating if I want to paint them or not. I'm also going to change the setup a bit and add some washers to better hold them in place. That should make things a bit easier to adjust and keep in place:

I'm waiting on the high beam brackets. Either going to fab them up with a buddy of mine and his aluminum skills, or use the other set I have for the low beams and make them work for the highs. Playing that by ear at the moment...

That's awesome, good luck! Took me a month to find this one as I was looking for a WS6 or TA/Formula with a functional ram air hood.

Ah, I have new photos - forgot I had this post. Crappy cell shots, I'll take real ones later:

May paint the brackets. I do like them at the moment though...

Thanks. I'm NOT happy with the output. Not sure what I can do for that at the moment, though. It's upsetting, but then again it's 100% better than the OE lighting.

Find one before! Will most likely be less expensive too, just like a bike.

Yea cut outs are nasty sounding on LS1s! You ever get on motorcityforums.com yet? Some serious LS1s on there!

I can't wait to get it back. I dropped it off at Import Intelligence today (Thanks Matt!) since they're a local vendor with a good rep.

htt: I can't, man. I'm on WAY too many forums at the moment haha. Takes up too much of my time! I may consider it one day if I'm bored at work
