You can run a more timing then the borderline table says. The stock table is conservative.if i remember it goes to like 28 but you can go to like 34* and have 0 issues. Assuming that you are running 91 or better octane.

You can also play with the VCT to make it do more/less work to get the best power/MPG per 100RPM if you extend the table out that far.

Been a few years since I did zetec tuning though so I cant remember the best VCT settings anymore.
