I love when people watch a video and they are suddenly a social activist when this has been happening for years. You are aware he is no longer even in that country right ? What do you even know about what's really going on in the world.

You sound like such a pretentious hipster making fun of someone who just started listening to some once-upon-a-time obscure band that just went semi mainstream. Except regarding politics and world news.

Don't put people down for learning something new. If anything you should be happy that there is more awareness for what's going on in the world because our media sure isn't informing anyone about it.

no, he doesn't sound anything like that at all. projection much? he sounds like someone who's known about the topic for a while (which we all should) and is annoyed at the people that will make every post on facebook, twitter, etc. for like a week and then forget it ever existed. there's a difference between putting people like that on blast, and mindlessly making fun of people that generally didn't know, but now want to show support.

Ive actually known about this for a while now but the day their going to start the serious movement is April 20th and they just released that two days ago, so I figured I'd make the meet after they announced it. I'm not the type to follow trends then forget about them when it is a serious subject. I figured this would be a good way to help out and make somewhat of a difference, so like I stated before if you disagree with the point of the meet or just generally don't care then you aren't forced to come, not directed at you slevin.

So he does sound like my example durrr.

Replace "topic" with "band" and it's the same thing. Either way, it all contributes to greater awareness whether or not the people talking about it really care.

What's the point of the posters? Should just save the money and add it to the cause... I don't think people are going to hang Kony 2012 posters on their bedroom walls.
