TST Chat

I think having some type of chat room would be a cool idea for the site. Not sure what all goes into it. I mean can't we just start an aim or aol chat. Not 100% sure

I dunno, they're fun for when you're really bored or need a quick answer. The downfall is that it'll get busy with a lot of people on, you'll talk about good stuff, and later down the road it becomes an "inside thing" because you had to be in chat that night to understand. At least chatting in the boards allows everyone to keep up with the topics they want to keep up with and its all recorded.

Everyone pushed for a chat room on the akarally.com forums, so I put it up. People used it for a week or two, then interest tapered off. The forum is a better interface, in my opinion.

ClubWRX had the same thing happen. Lasted about a month, but tapered off.

Well it seems like most of us have AIM or MSM chat, so can really just talk back and forth there and if we wanted could start a chat rooms on one of those. Maybe could set up a chatroom on Mirc.

IRC is what its actually called just so anyone isn't confused. mIRC is just a nice user interface to use IRC. Hell I can use IRC on my xbox buts thats just cauuse I am good that way haha but I am actually up for that idea. Its kind of like a neat idea. You never know if it'll taper off or not. I've seen some sites chats last forever. It just depends since this sites new and everyone is comin and you get new and new people everyday I can see a chat on this site staying in use for a long while.
