Im located in the NE Philly area.. I usually go to Penn Muffler on rt 130 but my guy was off that one day and the other tech wanted $75 just to cut off my stock muffler and then weld back my new one on... I remember it use to cost $25-35 to do a simple cut and weld,,, I have no problem paying $40-45,, but $75?? sounds kinda steep to me...

$75 doesn't seem all that bad. It is an hour or so of work.

haha,, I cant,, the exhaust on my car right now is a huge 1 piece from header back... it has to be in the air and cut off at the muffler shop and then my new greddy exhaust gets welded back in place... I have a fake mugen loop exhaust right now but I love the way the car sounds with the greddy canister...
