its just a standard muffler delete however im not looking to pick a random shop and end up with a crappy outcome. Can anyone recommend a specific shop / any vendors on here that would be able to help?

exactly, most catbacks are about 1500 plus shipping and all. Some axleback are from 2000-3000 which makes noooo sense! cheapest way is a muffler delete

I got a full custom exhaust for just under $2,000.00. Installed it myself. Runs sick. I don't see why you'd want all that attention grabbing, **** sound when you could just go legit.

3-4 stainless bends cost $100...that's hard to believe unless it was scrap and it was a favor.

Its ridiculous how much the muffler shops want to put in a muffler nowadays,, Meineke wants $75 just to put a fart can on my civic.. its just 1 cut and 1 weld,, takes them 15-20 mins realistically... I remember when it use to cost $35 just a few years ago.. I know prices shoot up, but $75 for 1 cut and 1 weld? and thats not even including tax.. so basically $80... thats ridiculous in my opinion..

i did my own muffler and cat delete...

OP have you looked under your car? is the muffler a straight shot? if so you could cut it out yourself and clamp in some pipe then take it to a shop to have it welded together or just run clamps so its easier to go back to stock if you want to... that would save you some coin so

I wouldn't call it being hustled. If you're willing to run a business for a $30 weld job then go for it. You'll be out of said business in no time. We're not talking about back yard mechanics here.

On most cars, that 1 cut and 1 weld job will require pulling the rear section of the exhaust OFF the car to weld the top correctly...otherwise it'll leak. Yes, there's places that'll do it for cheap, but you get what you pay for.
