I think that u could pull this off in early January! I will be in the area from school and im sure others will too! Hopefully ill have my clutch in and I want some numbers too! I cant honestly say I kno Mike, But this is a Great cause and I would love to help out! I can put this on my forums and let DSMers kno asap when u set the date! I can also try to talk to some companies and possibly get some money together to help have food/etc there!

The problem with early January is obviously the holidays. People's heads are all over the place worrying about Xmas and New Years. Later in Jan might be better. People should still be home from school but the holidays will be behind us at that point.

I would think you would have a better turn out in spring. More people will be willing to come out when its warm. Lots of people put their cars away or do builds over winter.

And hopefully my car will. Be together and tuned by spring so I can slap it on the dyno.
