Honestly tho getting pissed off about this stuff is not worth it and chair force is being himself that is how he acts. Most of the time i find srt-4 to be pretty cool when i encounter them on the road. I bust their balls alittle about going form a dig they tell me my car sucks from a roll we get alittle laugh maybe a quick run in and thats it.

Im not pissed about his comments i could care less what he thinks about the srt-4 crowd. I just dispise ignorance and he spreads that all over his posts just to get a rise outta people. Oh and then there is the whole making a point thing which he rarely does.

someone start a thread about a jackass in an sti, then someone make a blanket statement about subaru owners and see how fast the posts get cleared, thread gets locked, or mods generally jump on it.

Really strong exhaust smell in cabin at idle -- why?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

My car is mostly stock. Mopar BOV, STS, MM's, that's about it. When the car is at idle, and the heat is set to defrost (thus must not be on recirculate), the car fills (quickly) with a really strong exhaust smell. It's unbearable. I have to shut off the heat anytime I come to a stop. Its fine while I'm driving, and seems okay (or at least much less strong) when not in defrost / non-recirculate mode. Any ideas what the problem might be?

it sounds like this problem was oil burning since in the other thread you (asked if it was a problem to run your car with the oil fill cap off). Sounds like oil was getting on your exhaust mani.

Honestly, I haven't checked out this thread in a while but if there was a problem with Chair-Force's comments someone should have reported it. The best way to get a thread moderated is to let one of the mods know. Preferrably PM one of the mods that can actually can do something in this thread.

And yes, if it was an sooby thread mods would be all over it... just because a lot of mods have a sooby and would be checking the thread a lot more often and not because they have any less respect for other cars....

ok so i was just getting gas on the levittown parkway and i spotted a red srt...it had black wheels but it was dark so i couldnt see anything else.i heard the mopar noisemaker and i looked up and there it was...and he blew off pretty loud so im guessing he saw me? that stuff doesnt bother me at all tho? like....people get revved at and feel the need to post it on this forum....i dont understand why? if so,meone revvs then race the person......who cares..then talk about it at the next light.....

one more thing...i dont know how people can base a persons persoanlity on the type of car they drive....you cant say "all srt owners are douchebags"...thats retarded....i think srt owners are friggin smart...they bought a cheap quick car with so much potential....and im actually thinking about buyiong one before the summer...i need cheaper car payments cause im getting a bike.....so if anyone knowws of an 04 (either blue, orange, or an 05 white one) for sale let me know......at a dealership though because ill probably take a 6 year loan out on it lol.....
