Just got a set of stockers to put on for winter. I'll be getting gold or bronze 17's in the spring.

Colors I am indecisive about are gold, bronze, or white. I was leaning towards white, since i'll be doing the whole brone/gold thing in the spring... but idk.. help!

I've painted rims on my last 2 cars gunmetal, so Im bored with that. And I think black is done too often, and also fairly boring on a white car. And you rarely rarely see the oem rims painted white, gold, or bronze on white s2000's.

I am getting a hardtop also, not sure if itll be white or black, but I was trying to keep that in mind when I was deciding on rim color. And another thing, this isnt my car, i dont pick up the stockers til saturday so I cant photoshop my car with them. One of the big differences on my car from the one in the pic is my headlights have clear corners instead of amber, so the rim color wouldnt clash.

Quick Photoshop for the colors:

Option #1: Gold

Option #2: Bronze

Option #3: White- looks way too bright, but it was hard for me to make it look realistic w/o it being bright since I suck at photoshop lol

Im going to have to go with the majority here. The three options you posted are kinda... well... ugly. Given that the wheels HAD to be painted, Id go with gunmetal or black, but since you dont want that... why not just leave them silver?

Its the least offensive color out of the choices, IMO.

because they look ugly silver. If wanted them painted the same color as nearly every other s2000 owner paints their stock wheels, then I would go black. But black is blah on white, and I haven't seen many s2000's w/ painted stock wheels, which is why I had to photoshop these colors on the wheels bc I couldnt find real pics of them.

I don't want black or gunmetal, period.
I don't know if certain people have a problem with the oem rims being painted something other than black, or if they just dont like other colors in general. If its the color, then ignore my photoshopped pics and go off the color of these in comparison to how they look on white:

oh...i think white looks awesome...but not on the stockers, plus have fun cleaning them everyday to keep them looking clean

I know, thats the one thing making me unsure about painting them white. Here is a pic of stock white wheels on a black s2k

Given the choices you posted, I choose white, by far. I dont care for bronze on any color car, and gold doesnt really go with white.

White on white gets my vote.

Oh, and they look much better without the centercap. IMO.

I suggest bronze.

Let Martin from LPC powerdercoat them for you. He does good work.

Im spray painting them. Theyre winter wheels, i'm not wasting $200 on powdercoating that could be put towards other things I actually need, like blizzacks, rotors, bumpers, a hardtop. etc u know
