twas' "euro" journal *now with M content* wheel update post 320

...my S13 has a new stable mate...

It's a 1993 318is 5-speed with a 325i motor swap. After a bit of searching, I found this out in Boston for a pretty good price. It has a BRAND NEW paint job painted Cadillac pearl white. After driving it the 5 hours back to where I live, it makes me want to sell the S13 and put the money into this doll face.

What do you guys think of the car???

Well, LOL I honestly was looking for a winter car and a DD when my S13's down. BUT, now that I bought such a pristine one, I want to buy a winter car for my winter car. LOL Kidding.

But seriously, after driving this for the small amount of time that I did (back to my house in NY), I think I want to put an exhaust on it, some sway bars and some real nice wheels (keeping the stockers for winter).

It sure was a LOT nicer to drive than my Nissan. It's hard to believe that the S13 and the 3 were both made in the same year. It makes my Nissan's interior seem like it was made in 1980. LOL

nice, not sure i like the white leather with what looks like grey and tan as well

what is the difference between the motor it had, and the one it has?

nice find, i'd love to find an older bmw, preferably late 80's, for a DD

I know it doesn't look it, but it's a super light grey interior.

The motor it had was a 1.8L 4cyl and the motor it has now is a 2.5 inline 6 cyl.

I'm so torn with this car already. On the way to get it, I had decided not to mess with it. But after driving it for 5 hours, I want to do all kinds of ****! DAMN IT!!! Ugh!
