What are the Guy rules with your buddies GF's?
Basically this buddy has a GF and sometimes when Im at work because I work werid ass hours my GF will text me and ask if its cool if they hang out. I say yes of course. I really think nothing of it because my gf pretty much lives with me and she always asks me first. Fast forward 2 weeks, we are all on a double date and I get a text message from him while hes sitting directly across from me next to his GF. The texts says not to let his gf know that he hungout with MY gf. Werid, but whatever. In the mean time he doesnt contact me at all for anything for weeks at a time. So then lastnight she tells me that he texted her again and asked to meet up for dinner. No biggie because im at work, I just said that I didnt feel like going out and spending $50 at a bar. She texts him back and asks if he just wants to wait until I get out and come over for some drinks. He never replies. Im not mad now, I just dont know if I should confront him about it or let it go until something happens. What does the unwritten code of guy law mandate in such a situation? ?

Unwritten man law says you must not tell him you suspect anything, rather tell his GF what he's been up to with yours.

**** that. Friends's (if good friends) should never mess with your gf. That's a man law in stone.

Thats what I thought but its not like he has ever tried to get me and her to fight or even acted shady with her. That combined with the fact that both I and his GF work late I didnt know if there were exceptions.

Exactly, thats another level to the plot.
Its a guy thing, you have to have a penis to understand our thought process. Ill put it like this, its like some skank from HS was eyeing up your BF at a party and you knew she had a thing for him in HS. You would want to give her the stink eye to tell her to back off your man. Does that make sense?

Me and my friends... we all know each other well. And our law is, Converstation is cool, hanging out is ok to a certain point. Heading to cruise the mall, getting a quick lunch, or even help with small errands is ok. Dinner, movies alone at the apt.... no go.

he might not have wanted you to say anything to his GF because she could be the type to automatically assume he's up to no good. Me and my girl are past that becuase two of my best friends are girls, and one of her best friends is a guy. I do find it fishy that he always wants to hang out with her when you're not around, but at least she is being up front with you.
Thats just weird to me though, if my boys wanted to hang out with my girl while i wasnt home..i'd be like WTF..lol

From my experience..there are only 2 of my really close freinds that I would never question the possibility. She hangs out with them all the time and even parties with them when I am not their. I know nothing is going on. But my other guy freinds would of been confronted on the spot. Sounds a little fishy to me. It sounds like you and your freind aren't too close. Talk to him 1 on 1 and set it straight.

Not too too close but I just thought girls were schiste like that and not guys. We have all known a girl like that but I have never encountered a guy like that.

I don't think its a matter of trusting the gf though. Its more about trusting the friend. His girlfriend (like most girls) is probably thinking nothing of them being friends. But I've hardly met a guy thats just in it for the friendship. Plus he is being really secretive about the whole thing. Sounds like there is something up.
I would say ask your gf, but she might think that you're just being jealous/protective. So, I guess you're just left with asking him whats up.

haha unfortunately it happens man. Dudes are just as shady.
When i was younger i took a girl i was dating to a party at my boys..got too ****ty so we stayed over. I passed out, woke up in the middle of the night to one of my then-best-friends making out with her on the couch. I had only been dating the girl for a short time, so i wasnt hurt or anything, i was happy to find out sooner rather than later that she was a smut. But that was my boy and he should never went there. Just like in this case...especially if you're not that close to the dude..i'd have to say he has ill intentions. Now if it was one of your best friends, i could see how he naturally became good friends with ur girl since he might be around alot. But if you and him aren't close like that, there's no reason really that they should be hanging out together.
