Thats how my buddies house is, his home is on the 2nd floor and thats how you get upstairs. It has both a garage door and a walk through door. I really like it and was considering moving in and still am.

I finally(well technically it was almost a year ago) got my own garage. It is a decent downgrade from my parents garage, but it'll do for now.

Also my Pa just "finished" adding an extra 1.5 bays onto his existing garage when i moved into my own place.

Yes that is my cavalier in it.

^^^ that's cool that's what I want to do to my 2 car garage but have the ceiling about 13' or so for a lift. Then leave the current exterior wall as an interior wall w/ a man door.

I've been doing extensive work. Added a 6/2 50A welding circuit for my TIG and plasma cutter. Added roughly 8 - 10 4-receptacle boxes around the perimeter of the garage. Two CAT6 network drops. Got my Racedeck down. Re-insulated, drywalling, and made some aluminum speaker mounts for my bose speakers. Hanging 5/8" drywall by yourself sucks btw.
