I'm not sure if you have ever heard of this, but it is called GM Syncromesh. You can go to any GM dealer and pick this up. It is a little expensive, about $10 a bottle, but is well worth the investment. I put two bottles of this and two bottles of 80w-90 synthetic gear oil in my transmission after my clutch/flywheel install. Gear shifts are much smoother and putting the car in first gear isn't as tight as it once was.

Here check this link out http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...ght=syncromesh

When I had my clutch installed I had my fluids changed out. Super Blue for the tranny and Royal Purple for the diffs. and I couldn't be happier.

I know this is my work cutting into this, but they use a pretty expensive casket for the Dragula.

i agree, redline in incredible. my 4th gear synchro grinded, i changed the tranny fluid to redline and it worked perfectly, the only thing since it is soo thick it takes a little bit longer to warm up, other than that it is great

Yeah the blue stuff got rid of my fourth gear grind too, it's a wonderful thing to be able to shift into fourth and not cringe lol.

I'm using Mobil1, and with my WRX at 105,000 miles the trans still feels great.
