Buster's old cars :(

So in an effort to stop the confusion about what parts I have or what parts I'm selling or the many responses to how the gold wheels look, I'm creating a new member journal. This one is all current and will have zero to do with the old one. I will be putting up a current modlist that I will update on the first page since updating the first page of 160 in the other journal would be useless and confusing. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I think it would make things easier.
New post with pix in a minute.

Heres a link to my old member journal, I'm going to have it locked. If you actually want tol sift through 160+ pages be my guest lol.

nicely modded man. Although i must admit i cant stop looking at that rear shot of your car. the left tail tint is off by like a 1/4" kinda looks unique with the little bit of silver edging shining through. only if it was like that all the way around. Looks great though all debadged in the rear.

The Tint looks off in the pic because the car was up on an angle, when you look at it straight on Ryan did a near perfect job.

Thanks everyone. After all the things I've done with this car, this setup by far makes me the happiest. I'm going to continue installing Genuine Subaru Parts like I have been because the quality and fit is spot on. I think next will be the STi pink front and rear swaybars and then the PPGs finally.

How is the car power wise? A modded 2.0 turbo 06-07 WRX is on my "to look at list" if I stay up here in winter land for anther year. I'd modify it very very very similar to yours, probably just bigger injectors and E85.

That would be very tough to find. 2.0 WRXs are 02-05, 06+ are 2.5s

Unless you are going with a much larger turbo biggerinjectors arent needed. My 565s are at 73% IDC on a 16g @19psi. I have turned the boost up slightly to 21psi but still have lots of injector to go.

As is sits, I should be around 300whp give or take a few and maybe 295 torque. The only weak link in the equation is the stock 5 speed trans. I love this car though, The only thing I would trade it for is an 01 RS coupe. Swapped with my setup of course.

Whatever you do dont sell them, 05 wheels are 1 year only. Very hard to come by if you need them. Personally wheels shouldnt be bought for looks. Stock wheels look the best IMHO. I bought these wheels because they are lightweight and semiforged. A very good combo. I don't like the whole stretched rubber on wide concave wheels poking out the wheelwell trend going on because. Most of these wheel setups are either cheap wheels made to look like expensive wheels, crap tires, terrible alignment settings or a combination of the three. Your best bet is to pick a car to model your after and then ask why you want it to be that way. My car for example, I picked a Spec C STi/EVO combo I did away with some of the performance parts that werent needed and worked around the setup I already had. I wanted a quick car that can handle well. A weekend warrior at best. Yes 21psi is a little much but its hard to beat on a straight shot. Take your time doing what you want with the car, dont buy whats cheap and accesable. Buy whats is proven to work, and if it costs too much money... wait.

If I was you, I would do exactly what did before, I loved my old setup on 16s.

STi Up
HKS Down
Perrin Shortram
STi topmount
Dropped
and a set of 225/50/16s

My Suba-n00b is showing!!!

Only reason I'd use larger injectors is because I'd like to run E85, I'd like to run more boost than 20PSI, probably 23-24PSI with a high spike just since I know there's next to no chance of seeing knock on E85 even with an agressive tune.

I thought WRX's except the 08-09's were 2.0s. I won't buy a 2.5, but love the look of the 06-07...sigh.

Anyhow, good info, thanks.
