I wish I had a few more weeks before the end of track season...i'd pick up the external wg o2 housing you have and go back out holding some more boost. I know I can get some low 11 second passes on this thing as it sits if it'd just hold boost to redline.

you can try and hold boost to redline on a 16G by throwing in some 30psi springs in a EWG, but it may not be the happiest 16 in the word at the end. I would be interested to see where the 16G would max out before it went boom. Nice times.

Kevin, there's a few loooow 10 second 16g cars out there running 35psi+ w/o issues on the external gate. There's one running 10.5x on the internal gate (modified to hell). I'm never going to catch them so I see no point. lol

WITHOUT the nitrous, it was never installed. Car made 290whp on a dynojet through the auto trans. The intercooler was swapped out for a bigger ETS unit since the dyno and some other small changes were made to help it crack 11s.

It's an auto....making more the 290whp now with the better fmic and would make even more with a 5spd swap.

Thanks for the video Chip...updated the 1st post.

For those wondering...if this car were a 5 spd, it'd probably be close to cracking 400whp as it sits. Thanks for the compliments on this build. I've built countless DSMs in the past 15 years of owning them and this is probably my favorite one yet. Can't wait to see what it does in the spring. I'm even thinking of keeping the 16g on for the first few track days...

Yea I read up on them. they are also pretty gutted as well. The issue is spiking 35+ PSI and holding 35+PSI. I would keep the 16G for next season and use the nitrous to see what it will do. Hell if you have an extra motor built throw as much at it as you can and go for the record.

I just did an external gate on the Legacy GT with borla headers, it picked up 30tq and 15 hp running about the same boost levels. It just holds it until redline now.

They actually hold to redline...it's nuts. One of the guys posted his logs on link forums. Like I said, i'll probably run it for a few track sessions and see what it does. Probably w/ the nitrous as well.
