has anyone heard/done business with this shop???

Im getting an (automatic) 1990 RX7 in a couple of weeks and the first thing im doing to it is a 5 spd. manual swap. I was looking online for some shops and I came across this one, Broadway preformance. I called the place and the owner seemed cool as hell, Im just looking for someone's 2 cents if they heard/dealt with this shop before.

heres the link to the website.

John, who owns Broadway Performance, has about as high of a reputation in the Supra community as anybody east of the Mississippi. Everybody who ever had them work on their car just rave about the work, customer service, 1st class treatment of all customers. Everybody says he treats customers like family. I've not been to the shop, but I always here it is full of all sorts of exotic cars. I also heard very good about KD Rotary but I don't know anyone personally who had there car there ...well except I think they did the Kazz LSD into my buddy's FD/LS car ...he's 2MCHPWR here, maybe PM if you want his input on KD.

I was told his mechanics were taking things from the shop. Last I spoke to Dave "owner" of KD Rotary he was doing all the work himself now..Dave has been building and porting rotary engines for 25 years and he is a great frind of mine..He knows RX7's inside and out and won't waste time diagnosing difficult to trace problems that the other guy may may be scratching his head about, he is our local rotary Genius
He is also friends with Judge Ito so he has pull in the old school rotary crowd

Ha your not missing anything. Those noisy things go by my house all the time. I can't speak for KD's work but they sure do a lot of business. If you go by their place anytime during the day, your bound to see one coming or going.

I knew of John @ BP back when it was mostly a dsm shop and he posted a lot on the nj.dsm board, but times have changed and I don't know what's new over there as of late be it good or bad. Seems like there's some nice cars that go through the shop though.

We (JNZ) do business with John at Broadway pretty often. Seems like a good guy and he keeps his customers happy.

I would have to recommend R/T Tunning, these guys are the real deal. very professional but at the same time cool and friendly, i persoanally have thrown alot a **** and weird ideas there way and they always made me happy.

there shop number is 215-855-5565

i would call them and talk to vince or matt before you decide on any certain shop to do any type of swap

This is Johnny Broadway. Thanks for all the words gentleman! We try our absolute hardest, each and every time we meet a new client, to make sure everything and every little miniscule detail is handle as PERFECT as possible. Noone stays a client very long though. They become friends. That's why I love my job. The cars are a bonus.
